FE Upgrade

Net North West's FE colleges had their JANET bandwidth upgraded in 2006, meaning that more data can flow faster over these network links. Each College's bandwidth was upgraded to either a 4 or 10 Megabit per second JANET Connectivity. For this to be effective, 49 of the Colleges have also had their physical bandwidth upgraded from 2Mb/ps to 10Mb/ps.
