100 Sites

There are now 100 of the North West’s top educational and research facilities connected together through the Net North West network on behalf of UKERNA (United Kingdom Education and Research Network Association), and over 250 sites in total.

The most recent additions to the network are The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (pictured) and Trafford Adult and Community Learning Centre.

These new sites, along with other institutions connected to NNW on behalf of UKERNA, will link to SuperJANET 5 through the Net North West network to access the  internet and to mutually share resources and information with other NNW sites.

Net North West is the largest network of its type and the addition of these new sites highlights its leading position within this field as the network continues to expand and provide connectivity to more and more users.
